mm and mega motor? - 01.20.2008, 04:18 PM

Anyone have any experience, positive or negative, with the mm and a 6 pole mega motor? I was wondering if there are the same cogging issues. If the combo does work well, what settings are you using on the mm? Thanks in advance.

Not too sure about a 6 pole, but I have a 4 pole plett maximum in my crt.5. It is a light weight truck and the plett works fine with the MM. I have it set normal timing and high start power. I tried it with low, med and high start power and the high worked the best, no cogging or stuttering from a standing start. The higher pole count motors are very smooth. I have an aqaucraft 6 pole motor that I may try with the MM and see how it does. From what I hear the MM has issues with high pole count motors in heavier vehicles. We should have a firmware update soon for the MM, according to JRH.
