cleaning - 08.26.2005, 02:32 PM

Im gonna clean my E-maxx 2day and 2morrow piece by piece
gonna take it all apart clean the bearings and everything else
wuts a good cleaning tool and other stuff to clean my truck?

Generally I use soap and water, a towel, toothbrush, paintbrush(for dust). For the gears and such, I use trinity buggy blast. Then relube and oil them up after.

Compressed air can blow most of the crud off before you start putting chemicals on, we got a Coleman 2 gallon one from Pep Boys for $50 about a month ago, and couldn't be happier.

Looks good, shadow.

Dabid, sometimes compressed air is a bad idea. It is known for pushing dirt into bearings and stuff. That's something I learned from an old machinist. Only use compressed air when no bearings are involved.
Just a thought.
