that brace is nothing more than a 74mm wide aluminum square part of about 7X7 mm

You can also use one of the standard braces you used with the nitro motorplate; you only need to drill the M3 holes with a 4 mm drill.

I can't wait to get mine and get a proper instruction ready.

I assume Jamie used the old TVP's as a template, if he did, their was a small issue with bolting in the transmission to the TVP's (room was a bit too tight) it all falls in place if you tightened the screws, but it could be a bit better. I can imagine if these screws aren't tightened all the way, this would give you the miss-alignment as described.

I hope you get my drift on the motorplate thingies. The HPI partnumber is hpi86063 for the older .25 models, the X braces have got a notch in them to allow clearance for the driveshafts.
