Battery Tray - 01.26.2008, 08:55 PM

How long before that RC Monster Polyquest battery tray is back in stock?

I ordered a conversion kit from RC Product designs almost 2 months ago and I'm about ready to just buy your Mugen motor mount and a battery tray and be done with it.

Ok, I just ordered the Mugen mount, The polyquest tray and a couple of mod 1 pinions.

Maybe I can get this project moving soon.

I just received my battery tray yesterday and got to checking it out.

I noticed that the internal dimensions are 165mm. This tray is supposed to be made for Polyquest packs right?

I can't seem to find any 4000mah+ Polyquest packs that are less than 165.5mm.

How are the XQ 30c packs at 170mm supposed to fit in this tray?

I think these trays were designed around the 25c 5000mah packs.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

The battery trays are actually slightly over sized for the Polyquest and Flight power packs I have here - There are plenty of pictures around these forums of these trays in use as well. The manufacturers posted dimensions are usually a bit less than perfectly precise as well - the packs fit just fine(any pack I have listed here from PolyQuest or Flight Power easily fits). If you find that the pack doesn't fit to your liking, simply return it (BEFORE you install it of course). :)

LOL. No worries - I am quite sure it will fit your batteries with no troubles. :)
