I doubt there will be any bugs in the MMM. The software and control board is the same for the MM, sidewinder, and MMM. The Sidewinder and MM works with the new firmware, so the MMM will too.

Besides, even tho the MGM are nice controllers, I don't think the MMM will have the funky reverse issues that the MGMs do. I know it's not a big deal, but that plus a lower price make the deal for me.

My MGMs (both of them) don't have any reverse issues??????? I have heard about them...but mine don't have them. Course I probably just jinxed myself.

I thought January was THE date. I have expressed my feelings about companies that don't do what they say they are going to do...It is sad that all the American companies that are in this ESC industry can't live up to the competition overseas. I will resist the urge to jump up on my soapbox.

there have been pics of the mmm testing leaking out here and there. if they weren't working out bugs, why would the release date change?

Finally!
Though they said the same back in November...that it'd be out in January. Oh well...hopefully this is for real now. The last thing Patrick said was that they were just waiting for the plastics (the casing) to be done, which is done by an outside source I think. Maybe they had a delay there. But there's not much reason as to why there'd be any bugs IMO; like has been said, the software is finished and ready to go and Castle know how to build a good powerboard. :)

True. Since the MMM will have a fan built into the case, does this mean you will have a good excuse to rip it apart, ditch the fan, and shrinkwrap it anyway Brian!?

What the heck, I guess I'll throw my $.02 in the barrell too. I'm stoked about this. I'm pretty confident the MMM won't have issues out of the box if used within it's specs up to 6s. I'm also stoked on it over the MGM because it will have reliable reverse, brakes, programming flexibility, and it has a better built in BEC. The MGM only went up to 5v and I wasn't happy with that. A steering servo on 6v is a beautiful thing.
Oh, and I won't be able to race anything until March here in Idaho anyway. Too wet or cold.

Ditch the fan: definitely! Don't know if everyone has caught on, but I hate to use fans.

nice to see that they finally gave an update. a little irritating that they only seem to do it after enough people get frustrated with them.

Every time the previous due date gets here they give a new one. That last for sure cant miss delivery date they gave was January. This is what they told people at the iHobby show on Oct. Now its January and the new date is March. Who wants to bet that March comes and they tell us May.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
