This is a new EMAXX right? Does it not have two steering servos installed? So are both servos destroyed?

This is the new E maxx. It has two of them. and both sets of gears are stripped.

I thought the Servo Saver was supposed to prevent this from happening?

This has never happened to me before.

To start I would send TRAXAS an email just like you did here and ask for their support in the matter. We both know that they want to maintain their reputation, and this is not a good thing to have happening with their newest EMAXX product. Maybe it is a deffective batch of servos, or they may need to change the servo specs to accomodate the application. Kind of like a recall. That looks like a definite material failure/defect to me. I guess we are still going to have to upgrade the steering servos to the hi torque type on our own to keep up with the vehicles pounding. Keep us informed of what they tell you Sikes. Thanks for the update.

Hey Sike, that sucks about the servos, do what jerry says and send them an email with the pics. They will most likely send you some replacements. Looking at my setup, I am not very happy with the 2 servo setup. Steering seems a tad unpredictable, so I may convert to a single high torque servo. I need to setup the suspension properly and lower the voltage back to 6v on the cc bec. I run a pair of futaba 3050 digital servos and they have tons of power and speed as the pair. No problem holding a line under full power, or turning the wheels at standstill.
