Came up with a different plan - Chopped off a set of traxxas pede/rustler mounts.
Dremelled a flat section (cutout) so they rest flat against the tower - with a lip. Then drilled a 2.5mm hole through them and threaded a 3mm machine screw through it with a lock nut on the back. For one of my hacks it actually looks pretty good! |
