9xl not moving freely - 02.02.2008, 04:01 PM

iv just brought used fegario 9xl (cant spell lol) and once i fitted it to my revo it dosent move freely (truck doesnt roll ) is this normal ?????????

Are you using the stock tranny? The brakes could be set tight for neutral, the gear mesh could be horrible... There are alot of factors. Does the shaft spin freely when not in the truck?

its not the meshing or the tranny as it rolls fine until i put on the pinnion and ive tryed the meshing but makes no diffrence it moves when pushed but not freely is this ok ???

It doesn't sound normal to me. Have you tried spinning just the motor when it is not installed? That will tell you if the motor is the problem.

sorted now it was a bent motor plate giving a wonky mesh thanks for your help
