so the actual width of the diffs is too wide for the bulks? i can put them in and take them out without taking the bulks apart.

The first version had a too large diameter OD for the bearing. they where too tight in the bulks.

My RC Monster hybrid diffs don't drop in with the bulkhead halves assembled. To explain it further, the differential cases have what I'll call 'ears'. The ears are where the screws bolt the two case halves together.

The Revo bulkheads have a fairly large clearance notch near the bottom, where the differential case's ear can fit, but at the top of the bulkhead, this clearance notch is nearly non-existant. It's the ears of the diff case that don't have enough room to allow my bulkhead halves to squeeze together, but just at the top.

I wouldn't say the differential case is to wide. I would say the bulkheads don't have provisions for the ears of the case to fit at the top, but the bottom is okay.

This is why I am wondering if anyone else has needed to dremel the bulkheads a bit to fit. Not a big deal if I have to, and it doesn't look like I need a lot of room. Just a little bit more.

I've taken 2 photos to further show what I mean.

If you look at the photos, you'll see the ears of the diff case hit bulkhead instead of having a slight recession to drop inside. The bottom is just fine. It's only the top that seems to lack the room.

Alright, well after looking at the fittment issues, it almost looks like the cap screw heads on the diff cases might be part of the problem. The case width seems okay, but the heads of the screws actually project out wider then the case, so now I am thinking the screw heads are giving me the effect of the differential cases being to wide to fit inside the bulkheads.
