Dear David,

I am not sure, if I correctly understand described problem - do you have this problem also with slow down mode? Please, let me know.
Can you send me monitor hardcopy with data reading from controller after LVC kick? (Via USBCOM+ and PC).

Best regards,
Grisa

Subject: MGM 16018 controller help

Hello, i've a revo convert to brushless, using a Neu 1515, 1Y motor, MGM 16018 controller and Flightpower EVO25, 5000mAh, 4s li-po pack, all on 5.5mm bullet connectors.

My problem ( and it's the problem for lot of guys who have this controller), is that the Low Voltage Cutoff kick realy too early.
I've a very good li-po pack, and i can't drain it because of the LVC how cut too fast.
When the LVC kick, i place my pack on the charger and i only put about 2500 to 2700mAh on it.(It's a 5000mAh pack!!!???!!!)
I've try to run the LVC in cutoff mode, slow down mode and nothing to do.
Just in race mode that i don't have this problem, but in race mode, it's very dengerous to kill my li-po pack, because in this mode, the LVC is disable.

In the past, i run this same truck with the same setup exept for the controlller, it was a Mamba Max and never have this trouble.
I've spend over $300.00 on the MGM 16018 and now i can't enjoy my rides.
My controller is new, i've purchase it in november 2007, and the software version of the controller is 3.11.

Need help please.

Regards!

David Lamontagne

I have started a new thread to continue this conversation

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10153

I think that a more appropriate title will help get more people who have had this problem to discuss their findings and hopefully assist us in getting a fix from MGM.
