375 isn't that cheap - you could get an MBX5T or CRT roller for 250 or an LSP for 160.

I'd look for a good name for parts etc.

Why? 50% depreciation when you open the box...

Try a Yusa buggy then and only spend $100

What is the concern on any nitro residue? cleaning?

Just look on this, rctech and other forums - As a side project I just picked up an LSP with new bumpers, wing, body, rcm motor mount, wheels and battery tray for 150...

There are cars out there cheap if you look...

I used to be team driver for GS. Being that I am not anymore and still willing to recommend the stuff should speak volumes. The quality of their kits since the CL1 has been great. One quality idea GS had was using a larger inner bearing on the hubs that the cvd rides inside of. the cvd pin rides on the bearing race and even if the setscrew falls out, you won't lose a cvd pin. The RC8 I have now has the same thing, and when I was driving for Xray, I asked them why they couldn't do that too (they do now in the 808). Good innovation, quality materials, and inexpensive parts.... it ranks right up with any of the top line rides and costs less. it may not be as common as the others in stores, but then price covers that and a main carries parts and has service as good as Mike here.
