What do you mean by this? I think I can help you, but I'm not sure what your setup is. Are you running HDMI? Do you have a reciever capable of passing HDMI?

On edit:
Run HDMI out from the PS3 to the reciever, then HDMI from the reciever to the TV. Set your HDMI audio out to Bitstream. Set your video signal out on PS3 to 720p. For most movies your reciever will decode it as Dolby Digital. If you have any other questions, pm me or I can also try to help you on here.

If you need HDMI cables, save money and order them from Monoprice.com. Most 6' cables run about 6-7 bucks.

Not exactly sure what your referring to, but you should have a HDMI going to the TV from the PS3 and audio cables running from the stereo to the audio output on the TV. At least thats how mine is...

Hey T-maxx, did you save your packaging? You can always return the cables to best buy if you did. They really jack up the price on monster brand cables.

And you should disconnect the yellow wire if using hdmi. The hdmi cable replaces the yellow (composite video) cable. If you are getting a black screen, it could be as simple as just a wrong input.

Can you take a pic of the outputs on your TV?

I can't exactly make out how its hooked up, but I don't think its right. You should have the HDMI going from the TV to PS3, the component cables (blue, green, red) on the 360 to the YPbPr input, L and R audio on the 360 to the audio input on the TV, L and R audio (red and white) from the stereo to the audio output on the TV (appears to be unused) and then your coxial cable, of course, which is right. Thats how mines setup and works perfect. Only thing I don't like is I don't have audio on my computer when I'm watching TV, but thats because my stereo is my computer speakers and my TV is on of my computer monitors, but that shouldn't be a problem for you. I can't really explain it more simple, so I hope you get it.

Does your reciever have HDMI in/out? If so, you can run your HDMI through there and get true surround sound out of it. If not, then use either an optical (digital) cable from your TV to the reciever, or simply use R/L component cables (these are the standard RCA style cables).

Yes, cables are one of the biggest consumer ripoffs in the electronics department.

Isn't it funny how this thread starts out consoling him for losing his girl and now it is all about audio/video equipment. That should tell you something about what makes us men happy HA HA HA HA. Just give us a few toys to play with and leave us alone.
