I will say this though - if you want a sweet car, Xray is the best of the best. Check this link out for more info:

I beg to differ....

Xray isnt the best...........

Over priced, and theres a new kit every 2 months.......

Cyclone still kicks A, and its been the same car for 4 years......

Is this the car your talking about?

When ever I do get it, I'll use my rusty's mamba 5700 in it along with my matched GP 4300's.

I will spank a nitro any day...guaranteed. :)

Ok thanks everybody for the input! As soon as I get BL for my rusty (in about a month) I'll get the cyclone.

blackedoutREVO, since you said you've been racing tc for a while you can expect some tc newb Q's from me via PM.

Does anybody else have any other tips for tc racing? What parts are the weak links on the cyclone? How often will I go through tires when street bashing? What general rules should I follow for gearing?

Sorry for all the q's I'm a newb to this part of rc.

That's cool, but like I mentioned I don't race touring cars. Just what I've heard from many. Plus I'm an owner of a XT8 and I'm biased.
