03.04.2008, 10:07 AM
hi
just started running a 370 brushed motor on my mamba 25 ESC have set it up as per instruction and have wired it up correctly
the motor runs fine but on the track but it gradualy gets slower and slower
the motor isn't to hot (you can hold it in your hand) and the ESC is only warm
i have tried a differnt motor and the same happens
ESC running to latest firmware
any one have any ideas

The problem is with your battery. What type of battery are you running? I am assuming it is an NiMH pack from the "gradualy gets slower and slower" part. The battery is the most important part of the system, without a quality pack, you won't be going very far...

just upgreade to a 2s lipo to get rid of that- you can get a plenty good one for $40 or so.

yeah I thought the consensus was that it was a battery issue - sounds like it to me. I run the mamba 25 and the MM in brushed mode with 2s lipo and have never experienced that.
