Which clutch shoes hold torque better - 03.19.2008, 01:46 PM

Which setup does hold torque better ?

Traxxas 2 shoes U shaped clutch shoes or HPI savage Alloy 3 shoes?

traxxas 2 shoes setup.

Savage 3 shoes clutch setup

I got savage ones with 3 alloy shoes.

I am putting the teknorc elec-adaptor into my savage.

Any suggestion?

The Tekno elektro-clutch adapter only works with the traxxas style clutch and clutch bell. I dont think your savage stuff is going to fit it.

The best 3 shoe setup I found for the elekro-clutch setup was the M2C revo 3 shoe. But the regular revo 2 shoe setup with the Nova aluminum shoes and the heaviest weights installed in the shoes and the shoes installed in the reverse configuration grabbed the hardest for me.

BTW... this thread might be best put in the Tekno support forum for the best answers directly from the Tekno guys.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
