Mamba max beeps once every 20 seconds

My mamba max beeps once every 20 seconds and green and red leds light simultanously.
It didn't happen before.
I have not used it for a while and I am not sure what I have done to the esc.
It seems that it start to act like this after my firmware(1.17) update .
I have recalibrated the esc after the update.
Do you know what is going on about this ?

I noticed this also when I did the latest firmware update. I figured it was normal since it hasn't caused any problems yet. It does the beep on my MM and M25.

Yep, mine are all doing it too after the update. I thought it was weird, but they seem to work better than they did before. Maybe the beep is what's helping? :-)

Mine beeps too. I thought it might be a problem, but I guess it's normal after the update?

It is a reminder beep. "remember me!"

Thats what I thought. Just reminds you that the ESC is on.

i think i read somewhere as said here its a reminder beep that the battery is connected , my Mamba25 does it to after the update.

This is straight from the release notes on the new 1.17 firmware:

Added tone that repeats every ~20 seconds to let user know a battery is plugged in

Thank you all. If there be an option, I would like to disable the function.

I am glad I read this thread. Otherwise I would probably freak out today while installing my MM after updating it.
