The DM1 shocks are for the front of the crt.5, and either CR or CRT front shocks (13mm not the new 16mm big bores) will fit the rear of the crt.5. The one problem I've heard about the DM1 shocks is that you loose travel. They don't have as much up travel as the stock shocks. Either way the stock front shocks are way over leveraged for the weight of the car.

Rob over at nitrohouse.com has the DM1 shocks as a complete kit for under $50. They aren't on the site yet, you need to call to get them. That's really cheap for a nice pair of shocks. The guys who pieced them together earlier paid about a $100 for a pair.

If you stick with the stock shocks, then you really need to at least go to the blue front springs. The greys are way to soft. For a smooth indoor track I run blue front and grey rear. For bashing or rough tracks I run white front and blue rear. I usually run the smaler 2 hole piston F&R with 60wt F and 40 rear.

However, all of this may be old news by this evening. I'm working on a different shock upgrade for the front that is cheaper and has the right amount of stroke for the truck. Muuuuhhaahahaha

I just posted my Revo big bore conversion for the crt.5. It's in the Truggy section.
