I might get one of the following monsters - 04.01.2008, 08:20 PM

This is not an April fools day thing people. I was talking last night with a few companies that I think makes them. Now there are a 100A and a 200A version. They handle 10S lipos, but the companies told me they can make them like I want. The problem is that this companies have different prices for the same product. One even told me they buy the kit and they solder their own MOSFETs to them. I have requested the following and they said they could do it: 12S 100A, 12S 200A, 10S 150A, 10S 300A, 6S 200A and 6S 400A. Now they said it could be done. Now I have to wait and see if they can actually deliver. Here are a few pictures that they sent me.

Sheesh! Long enough? Why not simply strap the FETs to the chassis?!?!

Seriously, the 12s/200A would be something I'd like for a bicycle project...

They are long, but they look good. I was going to try and talk to the folks that makes them tonight, but I will go to sleep early today. Tomorrow at 7a.m. I'll be watching CNN as they are going to have a special on Autism and my daughter's video and photos might be on the show . They might even thank Mike and you guys for all the support.

Yes, but it was too high. I usually don't like to pay for samples, but they insist I pay.

What were the prices for them? Especially for the 10s 150a.

The controller are 100A 10S and 200A 10S. The others were some of my requirements that I asked them. There is one place that sells the airplane version for $107 and change. The price I got for the boat version was $300. That is too expensive for something that just hit the market. I'll keep beating the places that makes them to see if I can get a straight answer.

So, you need a PiSitx and mechanical brakes. Not a big deal, as I run mech. brakes in everything I have.

You might not as they have a boat version and that should work with the pistol radio.

I'm not sure I want to spend 3x the price on a boat ESC, though.
