They’re Axial Terra-izers in 40 series.

It’s essentially an Emaxx tranny with motor plate installed on the UE Thunder (nitro) extended chassis. The Emaxx tranny mount is the same as the nitro tranny, but it is a taller box and hangs down lower then the original unit (beyond the frame rails). This prevents my center skid from clearing. I’ll probably shim out the skid to make it fit. Also the Emaxx tranny has a shorter output shaft and required a custom length front dogbone. Took me a while to find the right size; I'm presently running a 72mm but 70mm would be ideal.

an e-maxx tranny on a t-maxx chassis needs about 1/4 inch spacers under the transmission to fit perfectly, like xcntrk was mentioning about his center skid not fitting, he said he was going to space out the center skid, but driveshafts fit better if you space the tranny, as the e-maxx chassis is thicker and makes the tranny sit higher than on a t-maxx chassis

^Thanks I’ll have to look into that. Personaly I’d prefer the tranny to sit lower as the dogbones closer to level and therefore don’t wear as quickly. Too late for me, if I shim the tranny up I’ll have to hunt for new dogbones (again).

Tell you what, I’ll save you trouble and trade-ya strait across for your dual-plet maxx

I used my original UE thunder chassis rear dogbone; then I had to source a front bone. With the tranny mounted flush on the chassis (non-shimmed) a 70mm front dogbone will be perfect. I’m running a 72mm and it’s just a tad tight. Mike can get either 70 or 72mm bones.
