I registered and it asks who referred you . I was typing rc-monster "because thats where I saw the link" and it filled in rc-monster Mike .
today I get this email .

Long story short; Jason (maxamps marketing manager) decided that they no longer could offer any help to this site. It's Jasons decision to stop. Mike decided to remove the maxamps support forum.

Maxamps (Austin) is a great guy, who is true to his customers; if your pack doen't meet your requirements, he will replace it, no questions asked. It would be bad if this entire situation affected his business in a negative way.

Please; just let it be.

It will only affect his biz if Jason continues his style of support. He is great at helping people out until discharge graphs or further cell data is asked for. When irrelevant questions like cell resistance, voltage under load, and testing guidelines were asked for he puckered up instead of just saying that he didn't know or couldn't divulge. He even blamed a product of mine for issues that his battery was causing (cogging on startup- 3 cell lipo dropping to less than 7v and he showed the graphs).

They could fill a great niche if they could work out some kinks. Maybe their factory is fudging to them and they don't have the means for testing. Maybe most of the guys on this forum are actually wrong about the packs. Maybe they just need to reevaluate their pack ratings. I think something positive can come from this, but everybody needs to take a step back and take all emotions out of it.

One thing I always like to remind myself of- As soon as I think I KNOW something I will be wrong, and I must be able to admit I am wrong to learn. Sometimes I may just have to admit that I don't know, and I will admit that I don't know the full deal about Maxamps. All I really know is that I have tested a very small sample of packs, and what that data reflects.

At this point I suggest we all reflect on serum's wishes...

This sort of thing happens occasionally, Jerry - it happens here as well. It is quite challenging to decide which new members to approve and which to delete, based soley on the information provided when someone registers. Often times, an email address that looks like a potential spammer is all it takes to raise an eyebrow and cause a moderator to delete the registration. I suggest sending an email regarding the deleted registration, as it is quite possible that this may have been the case.
I highly doubt your membership would be denied because you found them or were referred to their site through RC-Monster - there is no bad blood between Maxamps and RC-Monster and I talk to Austin(Maxamps owner) fairly regularly. As they make marketing moves aimed at bringing their NitroKillers forum into the mainstream, they simply asked me to remove their support area from this site, which I obliged.
Likewise, I am thrilled that you enjoy our site, and hope you continue to do so. :)
