Nice!

Got a question; I run a very similar setup (motor/esc/batts) what settings are you using for punch-control and what’s your gearing?

not if you run them in series, mm will not take 5s let alone 6s, if you run them in parrallel for 3s 16000 mah it will work but the 7xl doesny really do well on 3s

Not really, the 7xl will turn a bit slow on 3s, but depending on gearing it will work. 35mph may be the most before the load on the motor pulls too much thru the esc. The xl motors have power, but tall gearing will overheat the esc, and most likely the motor.

You have a point, 35mph is a bit slow unless it is a small, tight track. Or maybe everyone is not capable of handling 40+ mph!

yea i guess if you have some really small straights, but its still nice to come off the track, swap some wheels/tires and bash around a bit

Were the stock Revo shafts too short or too long to work in the front?

Too short I believe, the stock nitro tranny is placed closer to the front of the truck, so a shorter shaft is normally used I think.

Okay. Hopefully the Revo 3.3 shafts will work with the 2.5 chassis. I ordered a set for the 3.3, but I don't want to order a set of E-Maxx shafts as well.

Thanks. :)

Have you flipped/landed upside down and hurt anything yet? I'm currently thinking about this, but trying to keep the roll bar... May require an abnormal configuration of the A123 cells I'm planning on using...

Edit: Also, how is the tranny fixed there? It looks like you have big washers clamping it to the chassis, without anything actually going through the chassis. Am I seeing right? Is there any problems with it shifting or moving or anything?
