diff direction...conversion in t-maxx, can I reverse direction of center diff - 04.07.2008, 07:57 PM

Can I reverse direction of the center diff w/ out any probs.? It would be MUCH easier to mount this way. With an electric motor it would seem to be able to do this, but not sure.

The traditional Tmaxx tranny will nuke on BL power unless you FOC it. Otherwise you can simply mount the entire tranny backwards to reverse rotation. For example, I too run a Tmaxx conversion using an Emaxx tranny that's mounted backwards (motor to the rear).

If its a true 1/8th center diff then direction will not matter.

Then your good, wont actually matter which way it spins. There's only spider gears in it.
