Got X10, need help! - 04.10.2008, 12:17 AM

Ok, I got an x10 on ebay. Actually THE x10 from the june 06 RC Driver mag and the XRS from november 06 (which ended up a parts car, so its not all there unfortunately).

Anyway, I need a brushless setup with a REALLY SMALL reciever and esc. I tried fitting a traxxas reciver and a mamba max esc in there and theres no way in hell its fitting! Also not sure what kv motor to use (its 6-cell nimh, thats all it has room for).

Would you mind taking some pictures of the truck so we can suggest components? That would help. For a receiver try a Spektrum micro RX.

I think the X-10 is a tenth technology predator X-10, which explains the small parts request. The tekin brushless esc would be the best and i think the JR rs310 would fit nicely, the spektrum 3500 reciever would fit good as well

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

im thinking if I can find a brushless esc small enough I can put the esc where the reciever is supposed to go and leave the traxxas reciever where it fits now. the reciever the mag used was a spektrum sr3000 which is 1.62" X 1.06" X .57". so if get an esc that size or smaller ill be ok. the shortest dimension (usually the hight) can be up to about an inch or so, but the rest cant be any bigger.
