Not too sure about skids for the Savage, but I am sure that there may be a few guys on here who will have that answer. You may try visiting Savage.com forum to see if they can help. After all that is their specialty. Most of the stuff I have seen is either for the EMaxx or the Revo, since that is what I have mainly been working with. I do have one EMaxx made entirely of Integy bling, because I to liked the way that it looked. That was more than three years ago, before I knew about some of the other after market products that were available. FLM, Unlimited Engineering, Great Assembly, just to name a few. RC Monster & FLM have one of the best line of parts available because they cater to many different R/C models, not just one. Service is another reason RC Monster is at the top of the list. Mike is friendly and his heart is in the right place with us R/C junkies. Anyway good luck with your project and keep us posted on your results.

Are you sure the Flightpower 6s 5000 pack will fit? I don't have a Savage, so I have no idea, but I just want to get an idea what the biggest size battery that will fit in it will be...

God point just checked and it will just barely fit. I have the FLM chassis as you can see form the pics earlier. FLM also includes spacers you can add another 3.8 mm to the width of the truck chassis. The width is 44 MM with a smooth can motor. The length is up to 175 mm and height is really doesnt matter as long as it stays in the truck. Take a look at the pic.

The battery measures : 166 mm x 44 mm x 54 mm

NOTE: the 44mm is if i ground the motor fins down. the fins are 3mm deep and the chassis to the edge of motor was 41mm. If you run a larger pinion your will have more room. OR use the 3.8 mm spacers FLM provides. I plan to get a Neu smooth anyway so this is not an issue for me.

There is a machined slot that a stopper slides on. From the chassis to the top of the slide is 65 mm.

yes i have some updates i now have a neu 1515 1y and a 5s Flightpower 5000mah. Will get a vid soon. Still working out minor kinks.... Also went to stock bumpers instead of the alloy. Also got rid of the bead locks and am going lighter on the wheels.

Also i had to add the spacers to widen the chassis to fit the battery... I wound up getting a finned can again. Fits just fine with the 16/47 and could even go to 14/47 if i had to.
