Problem with Castle Link - 04.13.2008, 12:30 AM

Ok, so I bought a Castle Link today, installed it, but when I plug it into my Sidewinder a tab that says "Porblems Installing Software" or something like that. Then, when I click program it tells me there is no ESC or an invalid ESC. What should I do?

Do you have the latest CastleLink software? It should have two clear status indicators, one for the USB and one for the device attached. Normally they're both green on successful connection, so that may be a good place to start. Also if your ESC has an on/off switch, try flipping the switch. I've seen some weird results in connecting depending on if the switch is on/off...

Yes, I downloaded the latest software. The lights on the adapter one is green and one is red. I've tried flipping the switch while connected.
