That is what I've got from Jammin...
I haven't opened yet freshly arrived unit from China...

That is the brain board from you 120A right? If it is it might be better then the red one I got which has a mosfet driver that seems to be impossible to find specs on.

Yes, it is from 120A ESC.

I'm still waiting for some stuff to come in (Some crazy powerful MOSFET) before I send you what I have here. All I know is that my Jazz 40 is going to rock after it's done. I hope I can get all the stuff soon.

What are you having done to the Jazz40?

I'll be addind a new MOSFET to it. It is the same SO8 footprint, but packs a punch for such a little guy. I have also designed a new capacitor bank for ESC, that should be good as well. I will wait though to see if all the components will get here. The factory told me 14 weeks lead time for the FETs.

So, higher amp and/or voltage handling?

Higher AMP for sure. I asked the factory for a few other models and if they send them to me I'll be happy.

I do not know guys, but whoever wrote this firmware was really up for something...
I was unable to sync Jammin's ESC to anything at all, just blinking LED no beeps no nothing, but I do have brakes :)
Opened unit number 2 and it beeps, spins and does whatever it wants but none of what I expecting to see...
Is it possible to set it all? I ditched everything and start playing with Traxxas transmitter (what can be simpler), trying to reverse channel, 30/70, 50/50 splits it just doesn't make sense. I guess I will try next weekend, what a bummer.

Reason: ESC was from Jammin not from Sammus

Maybe that brain board is for the aircraft controller. I know some of the car controllers found in the forum and the one I have, the brain board is red in color and the aircraft one is green and you can see them in the pictures I posted. Do you have the program box? You can also try and calibrate the controller. Try one of the following:
1. --no need to set up Throttle itinerary ---- startup process
pull throttle into the lowest position -- → ESC power connecting → Detect and get throttle signal one beep tone "beep" → 3 seconds delay → detected throttle lowest position → one beep tone "beep" again → can start throttle Moved.( start flying). this step total beep twice . there had light on ESC when each beep tone .
If not detected throttle signal, "beep, beep and beep ... " continued beep tones are emitted.
If the battery voltage exceeds voltage, "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP ." continued beep tones are emitted. the beep tone
pause for a bit longer,Under such circumstances, ESC refused to start motor.
2.need to set up Throttle itinerary ---- startup process
pull throttle to the highest position -- → ESC power connecting → Detect and get throttle signal one beep tone "beep" → detected maximum throttle position, "beep" tone is emitted (one beep tone) → then pull to the lowest throttle position → 3 seconds of delay → "beep" tone is emitted once, Detected the lowest throttle position → can start lifting the throttle. three beep tone is emitted .
Note : This method set up the throttle itinerary is not saved. throttle itinerary can be set up and saved permanently by our programm card.

BTW your powerboard looks awesome. I can't wait to see you get everything sorted out. Have you thought about changing the FET drive for a more powerfull one. Maybe the MOSFET you are using might not be able to switch fast enough. I hope I'm right in one of those .

Thank You,
Finally, with your help, I have something under control. Still need to be armed every time you power it Up but I can live with that for now...
Now back to Frankenstein, updates will follow...

I feel honored. I have to thank you for all the inputs you have given all of us here. So basically you have your awesome controller now? I want one . I'm jealous.

I am not happy with that ESC in general...
Is it operational? Yes and kind of no, I do not like how it works.
Luciano what you would like to do with that "cheap" (not really) ESC?
No comparison to MM neither in price, quality or features. I even put BK on top of it not even mentioning schulze.
Anyone would like to have this combo can shoot me PM, I have spare one.
