No, running single speed.....no need for the 2 speed. I will eliminate low gear 65T and just use the 60T spur. I tried running the 2speed on my MMT and it was cool, but just added weight and rotating mass.

I kind of thought that you were about speed. I saw what looked like a turbosmart or turbonetics sign. I love turbos. My go kart had a small turbo that my grandfather bought here in the US. It was an amazing improvement on power.

Yeah turbos rock.

Forced Inductions is my retail company the sells to the public, Turbo Diesels.net handles all the diesel market and manufacturing for it...

FI-Engineering handles the CNC machining for some of the big turbo manufactures, plus we manufacture/produce our own stuff as well.

Neil - What's your passion - Richard Brason started selling used records on a market stall...

If it is it rc - why not start RCM UK or be the first UK distributer for Neu / Castle / Fastlance / RCM and Feigao...

I'm going to talk to my uncle in Brasil. He owns a company that makes truck tire protectors, but he also does custom jobs for other companies. I spoke to him briefly about wheels and tires for the R/C industry and he sounded very interested in making them. I have to work my ideas so he can see them. One thing that I told him was that the current tires for 1/8 scale buggies and truggies becomes a pizza cutter with high RMPs and he said not to worry as he will use reinforcements like the real radial tires have. I will sort out some tires and wheel and send them to Brasil as soon as I can. He wants to see the different types of tires that are available. It will be completely different from what's available now and it should be great for racing and high speed runs.

I confess to seeing that this would be difficult to do - Forces in rc are higher almost than a car with greater RPM on tire - Difficult to see how a seal could be maintained...

Oops I now that three separate conversations going in one thread - I've been around linc too long

Nice projects!

I commented on one of your other threads how your models are always sitting in a performance shop showroom floor.

I’m a huge turbo junky too with several FI projects, mostly all Subaru related (on my 5th). My last project was a NA->FI swap, 2.5l boxer motor, 20G, 44mm EWG, FMIC, PPG tranny, and put down 410whp/380ftlbs. Not bad for a grocery getter. I’d like to see that TT supra run!

The black TT supra is no longer TT. Its now being converted to a single GT47-88mm turbo. Should put down around 1100rwhp or so.

Anyhow, back to the fun stuff...hehe. I tried fitting 4 lipo batts that I had laying around and 2 of the HV100 turnigy's I had extra. I don't think this is going to work..... So my question is what do you guys think would be the best way to go. Just run a single 1527on 12S or is their a different motor I should try?? I want 100mph out of this big buggy. I've seen 100mph+ RC's but they are all small, lightweight and don't look anything like an RC. Most of them use bodies that look like they came straight from wind tunnel testing and most are 4-5lbs max. That doesn't impress me, but I think small and light sure makes it alot easier to get these things to go fast.

I would have to check and see what we may have that would bolt in place. I dont think anything is really offered other then custom stuff which gets pricey.
