Any tricks on how to get those gears cleaned up?

Thanks

Toothbrush and some sort of cleaner, like simple green? The wash them and blow them off! (the last sentence was related to the gears, not body parts)

Hello.

Thanks. I cleaned them (the gears!) with a scott towels and finished the job with compressed air. They looked like new!

Thanks guys.
As Brian mentioned, the cups will help the spider gears last longer. You still need to shim the pinion/ring gears.

On another note, you can use an alloy outer diff case as well, which will prolong the life of your ring/pinion gears:

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

I have read that if you take the innards out of the 16.8 volt emaxx diff. the fit right in the revo diff's and are much better

also the emaxx 3905 tranny is much stronger?....easy mod
