Thanks metalman and lincpimp.
metalman I plan to bash around the yard which has some nice rockpiles as well as a lot of grass so I guess it's pretty general kind of bashing- I take your point about the ground clearance so I lean towards the savage on that count. Can the savage be flattened out much to allow better handling on the days I feel like that sort of thing??
Lincpimp that is a fabulous photo. The body looks like it went under a train. Looks like it might be the savage then- takes a lickin' and keeps on.....

You could go middle ground and go for a truggy. More clearance than the buggy and better handling than the savage.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
