Yeah it just depends what you plan to do with it,for general bashing around i'd go with the e-maxx box.It's lower geared and easy to install.Plus gearing is nice and low for a monster truck.With a 51t spur you have 12 to 20T pinions to chose which is a nice range of gearing for a truck like the MGT.For speed runs or 60mph type speeds the center diff gearing is better.

For racing, go center diff for lower weight,lower center of gravity (lowers motor considerably).Gearing low enough can be more challenging though.
