Have you seen the Aveox website lately? If you have interest in the stuff they sell, you basically have to email them and ask a million questions- all the old motor charts and stuff have vanished when the new website was created. i never did undersand how they rated different motors properly, and now i never will :(

I couldn't pass the Mr. C kit away. Don't forget the BPP which is also another serious machine.

Yes and it's pathetic. They should have kept the R/C line up and running and lower the price so more people could afford them. Some companies makes me sick with their business concept. I guess the government pays them pretty well for them to completely forget where they all started (My best guess as I've had a Aveox since the early days.

I've heard that Mr. Neu used to work for Aveox.. so I have always figured it's not a coincidence we have seen the rise of Neutronics and the fall of Aveox fromt eh r/c world.

Side note... my cousin lived in Socal for a while and did some work at Aveox... and they hooked him up with a car system. That was a couple years ago. He says the guys there were really cool, but obviously they aren't concerned with the r/c market. That not where the big/easy money is so I can't blame them if they are raking it in somewhere else.

They could've kept a side of the building just for R/C. If they kept coming out with new technology and made their products a bit cheaper, they would definitely be the leader in BL systems. Do all the government work, but do R/C as well. They would make more money that way.

First run went ok for the speed control, but bad for the slipper clutch. The run only lasted for 3 or so minutes, but this Scorpion Commander can handle the 6S and the BEC was doing a fabulous job. Good news from Scorpion: They will add a bigger heat sink. Everything worked nice. Throttle response in good and I didn't have the "Motor Start Booster" on. Brake is also good, I have the soft brake setting on. It brakes soft like it should, but it's also nice to know if you want to lock the tires, it will if you grab full brake. I have attached a photo of the data and I have set the SPS to 50 for a more detailed graph.

Edit: Graph came out bad. Sorry.
