Yeah, but not as hot as a low turn motor. One of the advantages of having a high turn motor is that you can use the extra torque for more speed through high gearing. My 1920/8 does not heat up as fast as my 1930/5, although I'm using a gear ratio higher than the one I use for the 1930/5. So I guess that I can make it in the same league as my 1930/5 if I can use an insane gear ratio and extra cells. Lower turns are not always the best way to be Fast. Thats my own thinking and you can correct me if I'm wrong. The 1930/5 needs a highend esc to make it go insane and that is why I spent so much money to bring the 18.149. I hope it will perform as expected.
