So whats the C rating on a 4s2p 6000 MA lipo battery?It says 125 continuous
amps on the battery.

around 21c

(6000 * 21) / 1000 = 126 amps

Thanks for the example I get the formula now.By the way my MMM has run perfectI am just a backyard basher but want to learn as much as possible about lipo ratings to protect my investment in my MA batteries.

I would not suggest using a 4s 4000 20c lipo (maxamps) with a 2000kv (or so) motor in a MT with a MMM. It will not be enough, unless you gear for 30mph or less. Only experience speaking here...
