Land vehicles for me!

Aircraft of any type can get costly to repair when I crash! Note that I said "when", not "if".

Boats can be tricky to get if something goes wrong. There are so few swimming months in Iowa where the water is not freezing or slimy from algea.

Right now I have:
BL XXX-T MF2
BL Jammin X-1 CR
BL Revo
BL T-Rex 450SE heli
Nitro Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 V2 heli

I used to have:
Traxxas Nitro Sport
brushed electric Kyosho 2wd buggy
nitro Lite Machines LM110 heli
BL T-rex 450XL CDE heli
and a few other nikko type trucks

BTW T-MaxxRacer32, you don't know what your missing with helis!!!
Trust me you can do TONS more with helis, but it is also alot harder to do. You should check out some of the heli forums like runryder.com or helifreak.com and ESPECIALLY check out the videos that are posted on there. Watch the videos from 3D Masters and the funflys. You won't believe what these pro flyers can do with a heli!

VintageMA- It's funny that you mentioned flying in your living room, because a while back I was flying my T-Rex 450XL CDE in our living room and apparently I pi$$ed off my sister and she threw a "throw" pillow,(no pun intended), right on the main rotor. Needless to say, I was furious after she did that!

Well I still feel kind of new at this. I have 6 EMaxx's. 4 of them are the extended metal version UE, FLM, Hardcore, & Dynamite/Integy. The other two are the original stock that I am giving to my boys when we get to Korea. I also have an Apache heli that I am trying to learn how to fly, and we also picked up an 19" jetski on ebay for $1. that rips it up in the lake. It is fun, but I am focused on the monster truck facet for right now. That is expensive enough by itself. I really only got started in this like three years ago and I have approx $15K to $20K tied up in my collection. Hey what can I say that is what retirement pay is for...

For furture projects I plan on getting a Hellfire, and XTM/MMT, and I also want to do a little road racing to see how that works out for me. I stay with the electric types just because dealing with the fuels is to complicated with all of the traveling we have to do in our work. Plus all of the tuning and messiness is just too much for me to deal with.

If you are getting into flight, invest the $200.00 into a simulator. After the initial 200, it costs zero to crash. It's the best money I have spent and has helped me a lot with flying.
