Your problem is a little bit puzzling. What is so out of wack to cause that kind of play in your steering blocks. I was about to order a set of those Integy blocks since I already have a set of the high velocity shafts, because the shafts will not fit the regular Maxx steering blocks. So I thought I would try them out on one of my trucks. Send them my way. Anyway as far as the bearings go I have found a very reasonable place to purchase bearings at about $1.50 per bearing. I tried Avid but they are very low on stocks right now. I ordered about 20 of each size for the EMaxx and also got a digital caliper for $9 so I can measure my own stuff from now on. Check out VXB bearings on line. The distributor is in California and from what I can tell they fill orders for many of the popular R/C companies and have full sets for just about every vehicle in the hobby, that are even cheaper than what you find on the R/C sites but still good quality. The also sell the teflon sealed and ceramic bearings to, but I do not want to pay $5 a piece for R/C bearings

I have not tired to post any photos on here yet. I have not gotten to the point of knowing how to do this. I will try soon to set something up so I can put pics up on RCM. I don't feel like I have anything special since most of the builds have been seen somewhere in the past in one way or another. I am just trying to have some fun and I love building the ultimate projects. Bulletproof is a thought that goes into everything that I build, from R/C to woodworking, to welding. I want the things that I build to out last me on this planet. I guess they never learned that in places like Burma or China.
