I took the first picture and thought I should clean up a little. Spent about 5 minutes shoving everything off to the side.
Dont mind the spudgun in the first pic... This room is right next to my bedroom in my basement. There are some advantages to still living with your parents!
I recommend a fluorescent light over the workbench. I put an outlet thing where the light bulb goes. There is still a light bulb socket on that and then I plugged in the fluorescent light in that so it turns on with the switch.

Yep, a tv and a cpmputer are nice, especially for online exploded diagrams. If I ever get my laptop back that is where it will go. I have a small radio that keeps me company, but will soon have the complete A/V setup in the room. That will give my friends something to do while I work on the rc cars. Gta4 is fun, that is for sure!

All you need is a refregarator and a urinal and you will have no reason to ever leave.. ....when I lived in Washington state I had a seperate 2 story garage that had a refrigarator, microwave, and bathroom, put 20k into it I was able to talk my wife into it making it if I would make it a 2 story building so she had a place to do her crafts

I want to stress the importance of a good, large, workbench. My dad put in all the shelving when we moved in and we both love it. Here is what our garage is like. The third stall is converted into a shop. Not for RC's, but is has a radio for sittin around in the summer and a good place for spud guns...
The pictures are supposed to be in better quality this time...

May be a strange question, but where can I get peg hooks in bulk? I really need a much bigger piece of peg board, my 4'x4' peice is loaded!

Doesnt peg board come in 4x8' sheets like plywood? I would just get the hooks at a local store. I dont see why people buy so many things off the internt when they can get the same stuff for the same price, maybe less, at a local store the same day ... I'd buy a couple of those to start with and you can get a few small packs of the ones you need some extra of.

at least for me as I have gotten older my time is more vauable to me and needing it right away isnt that big of a deal, and when you factor in the price of gas it makes sense to buy off the net....also I get more pissed off at my LHS more everytime I go there they seem to have no clue whenever I need anything

Here's mine, I finally added another light over the workbench area and moved my air compressor to the same side as my working area.

Yep, peg board does come in 4x8 sheets. I have tons of parts in boxes that are unopened, and will most likely need 3 or 4 sheets of pegboard and 300-500 hangers. I bought out most of the parts when a local hobby store went out of business, pennies on the dollar. If I was to buy the pegs locally it would cost 500-1000 bucks, that was why I was wondering about bulk pegs.
