What Truggy to convert next? - 05.27.2008, 10:52 AM

So now that I've got my CRT running, I'm itching to buy another truggy to convert. I need a chassis that I can work with to get twin Trakpower packs mounted on like on my CRT. Right now, I'm either leaning towards buying another CRT or possibly picking up a MBX5T Prospec since they're on sale at amain for under $500 shipped. I'd like to keep the cost of the roller to under $500. Any other options I should look at? What do you guys think?

Also, if anyone is selling a truggy they think I might be interested in, PM me.

The only thing bad about the Kyosho is that it's the most expensive truggy roller out there.

+1. I'd just wait a little until the price drops. I also saw the mbx5t prospec for under $500 at A-Main and was actually thinking about doing one myself. So I'd be very interested in the build if you went that route.

While the RC8T might be nice looking, I don't race and cannot justify waiting 2 months on it to come out.

What all do you have now besides the CRT?

bdebde and some others have had an influence on me to convert a muggy. I am still contemplating and think that having something in the middle between truggy and monster would be nice.
