I'm generally not a complainer, but I was really expecting the CCBEC to be integrated into the MMM when they were talking about the MMM having a switching BEC - so for that I am dissappointed. I've yet to see a piece of RC hardware that can't handle a full 6V.

Yet I do understand that the BEC also drives the internal circuitry of the MMM so they don't want someone cranking up the voltage and frying the ESC circuits. Of course there is a BUT to that as well, they could've just thrown a 5V zener diode on the feed to their circuitry to regulate their circuits at 5V and still allowed the user a BEC range of say 5V - 7.5V

Either way, like Jeff said, I can't fell the difference either way (just the gnawing thought in the back of my head that it's not a full 6V). I feel lucky to have just gotten 2 MMM's from the first batch that appear to be running properly and have not died after 2-3 runs on 5s and 6S pushing between 400 and 1500 watts.
