So whatcha guys like to drink? -
05.31.2008, 01:07 AM
Spurred on by TDC57 and his drinkin' and workin' I was wondering what y'all like to drink?
I am a hard liquor drinker, mainly crown royal and cognac.
I got into drinking crown straight, as it is hard for even the worst bartender to screw up a triple crown on the rocks.
I do also like tequila, and have a fondness for Cabo Wabo, Sammy Hagar's tequila, and Patron silver. I really like tequila sunrises, probably the only "mixed drink" that I will do.
So what is your poison...

I'm definitely a hard liquor guy. Vodka, Baileys, and Bombay Sapphire are my favorites. All beer tastes disgusting to me. I do like mixed drinks, mainly White Russians and Vodka Martinis. Shaken, of course.

Nifty, I will have to give that a try. Have you had Cabo? Makes the best tequila sunrises IMO! Don Hulio (sp?) is not too bad either.

Been on the wagon for the past 3-4 months
Gotta a feeling it may break down during the camping trip next week
Turkey and soda was the drink of choice years ago. Crown on the rocks is very nice too but the usual was mass quantities of cheap beer
No tequila for me.......EVER AGAIN......

Not so much now that I am old and married
Beer is good too, especially the real stuff not most American beer.
Reminds me of a good Australian joke: What do American beer and sex in a canoe have in common? They are both f#@$ing close to water!

Tequila is so good, but I am not a jose cuervo fan. That stuff is not good. I also like a proper margarita. Good tequila, real lime juice (fresh squeazed), and cointreau. No freaking sweet and sour! I want a real maragrita!
