Truggy diffs - 05.31.2008, 01:05 AM

I am looking for the most geardown I can fit in my twin force axles. I found this pinion on tower, but I have no clue about the matching bevel gear http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSXS4&P=7

Can anybody point me towards a pinion/ bevel set with a ton of geardown?

If you go with that pinion, you gotta match it with the 26t ring gear:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXSXS5&P=Z

That gives a lower ratio than even buggy diffs (GST is 2.89, buggy is 3.31). The lowest I know of are LSP truggy diffs, 43/10.

If you want more than that, just go with a MBX5T diffs, it has a 4.6 ratio.

Another choice, but much more expensive for parts! I knew this would be the right place to ask.

If John is not interested, I might be. Are they complete diffs with the pinion or just the ring gear and pinion?

Edit: Actually let me see if the ST-RR gears that I'm bidding on are compatible and if they're not I might be interested.
