Plans to carry 10 Ga wire and 6.5 bullets?

does anybody know what cells Tanic uses in thier packs?

I use 10 and 8 Awgs.. I wish someone had 8 AWG silicone wires... the 10 AWG from robotmarketplace breaks too easy...

I use Deans Ultra wire and Wet Noodle 12awg and it is very flexable.....IMO 12 awg is all that is needed especially when you get into higher voltages (> 4s)

Yeah I've always use wet noodle and never even felt my wires get warm, so I dont imagine theyre limiting much...

well heres my question. can 4mm plugs be soldered on the GIGANTIC 10g wire? Im not sure if there is enough clearance.

and is a 4mm plug enough to handle a 1515 2.5d on 5s in a CRT.(geared for 37mph)

you will want to use bigger connectors than 4MMs at least 5mm, I have soldered 4mm plugs on 12awg but it was a chore, I had to remove some wire strands

are the hyperion 6mm conectors alright? I happen to order some of those to not thinking. I knew the MMM had 6.5mms but when I saw 6mm I was oh sweet thats the size of the MMM. guess I got excited.

you could go as low as 5.5s if you had to, but 6.5s do come with the MMM

I use 4mm connectors (stock sidewinder esc) on my CRT.5 running a Feigao 9L and 3s, geared for about 34mph on brians calc, nothing ever gets the slightest bit warm so I'm thinking the 4mm spring connectors are up to the task.

I have 4mm plugs on my 4s Rustler with a 9L being geared for about 70 mph

I have some 4mm plugs with that motor on 5s in my truggy. They handle the power well enough. Don't about fitting 10g wire though.

I'm not a big fan of that wire, all of the cheap "silicone" wire that you can import from china i think doesnt have silicone insulation. feels different and melts very easily compared to deans wet noodle. Deans also has a much higher strand count, and the wire is copper, unlike the HC wire which is silver-coloured (steel?)

On Dean's website, they don't sell 10g only 12g.
And their strand counts are 660 for "ultra" and 1660 for "wet Noodle".

the strand count for the link I gave says 1940strand @.06mm

anyhow- I don't have experiance with the deans or the hobbycity one. I will try the hobbycity one soon and let everyone know

Yeah I was talking about the only deans wet noodle, 12ga. I was also thinking of the strand count of the relevant hc wire (12ga).

The main point I guess is that the insulation is crappy and melts, and its steel cored (I think), certainly not copper anyway. And nowhere near as flexible. Given its a fraction of the price though and wet noodle is usually more than ample, I'm not complaining, just comparing for those interested.
