Great price on Jammin CRT Pro Roller - 05.30.2008, 11:55 AM

I happened to see this over on rctech.net. If anyone is looking to do a conversion, it's a great price for a CRT Pro Roller. Looks to be in good shape too.

That's not bad considering i paid $390 for a NIB RTR version of the CRT.

Some of the upgrades the Pro has over the RTR:

Clear, unpainted body
7075 Chassis
CNC Chassis Braces
CF Steering Brace
CF Servo Tray
CNC Shock Towers
CNC Front Knuckles
Pro-Line Crimefighter Tires

It depends on the condition of the truck itself. If it's in really good condition, it may be worth somewhere around there. Do you plan to do a brushless conversion or leave it nitro?

Soooo I bought the truck off flea-bay. I'll list the auction below..I need your guys help and opinoon on what do.. In the auction it states that the truck is Brand New.. I opened the box and I can see resdue in the tank. I can see where the JP-2 pipe has melted on the body actually on 2 of the body's. I can see scrapes on the wing and on the very back of the chassis I can see a couple of marks.. They are all very minimal but read the auction he advertises it as Brand New.. You can tell he has run it and put it away..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=013

What do you guys think? I don't know what I can do where i bought it through ebay.. I did buy it through paypal. I was planning on playing with it for a while and converting it later..

Can you post some pics, so we can get a idea of the issues your speaking of ?. If there very minor or major issues that would determine what to do.

They are very minor. I am wondering if it is worth fighting for. He advertised "THIS TRUGGY IS BRAND NEW IN BOX FROM HOBBYTOWN U.S.A.IT COST ME 550.00 RTR.THE BTRUGGY IS STILL IN SEALED BAG.. NEVER BEEN RAN..."

I should of known not to buy with the 1 neg feedback and he uses all caps... who does that.. lol

I will have to post some pics when I get home..

With out seeing pics & you saying they are very minor. I would probably say dont worry about it & enjoy the car. Maybe just dont leave him feed back.

You can leave neg feedback with impunity now :)

I would raise it with him and ask for a nominal sum back 5-10% - BNIB never run is just that... Like BNIB is different. What is an email going to cost you. If he says no leave appropriate feedback - if he works with you fine.

I doubt you'd checked the diff's and bearings yet...

No not yet.. I mean it looks like he ran it in a park lot.. I could see some dirt on the back of the wheels.. It looks like new but it has been ran and was not described I am looking into with ebay so I make sure I do it right.. I would be fine getting a nominal fee back liek you said..
