eLogger V3 query - 06.05.2008, 05:18 AM

Howdy, I'm looking to get an eLogger (V3) and was wondering if is it possible to set the sample rate seperately for difference sensors?
Eg I want to log

Pack V
Pack Amp
Pack temp
motor temp
esc temp
motor rpm
throttle position

I wouldnt need a high sample rate for the temperatures for instance, but would want high rates for the other bits.

If I were recording all 7 at 10 samples/second about how long would the memory last?

No you can't set different sample rates and the memory question is a hard question to answer as the device uses compression so record length can vary. Why do you want high sample rate for temperature. Temperatures normally do not change very quickly so do not need a high sample rate. Things like amps though which spike quickly need a high sample rate or you can miss a complete spike. I would say just put it on the highest sample rate and don't worry as recording some items at different sample rates won't make a huge difference.

I don't :P

cheers for the response though, I forgot about the compression thing. I still would imagine a higher sample rate would have use more memory...
