Only luck I've had getting tires to stay on chrome finished rims is to remove the chrome where the bead is glued. I use the edge of a file wrapped with 200-220grit sandpaper and get it all off. Wipe bead of tire and where it will sit on rim with denat alcohol to remove anything that will interfere or compromise the CA. Ended my probs doing it this way.
