Current MM still ok on 4s?

My MMM just smoked, completely melted down. Setup is 4s Neu 1515 1/Y/F 13 tooth pinion in a Losi 8ight-T. My question is can I run a MM (and cc bec) with this setup with no problems? Using my original MM, I have that exact setup (with a CRT) and it's perfect.
