Update on my broken titanium control arm. - 09.27.2005, 01:31 AM

Well I called FlexTek today regarding my broken TI arm. The guy there seemed really nice. I told him that I had broke one of his TI arms and he comes back and says "NO WAY, YOU ARE OUR FIRST CUSTOMER TO HAVE BROKEN ONE!" And without any hesitation, he says "Well we will get you another one shipped out right away. He just asked that I send him the broken one so they can inspect it for faulty casting? It wasn't untill about half way through our conversation that he asked me how it happened.
Nice people over there at FlexTek.

Yeah, it sounds like it couldn't have gone any better, always nice when companies are cool like that.......even after you trash their stuff. :D

I thought you must be the first,i was shocked when i saw you broke one,and well within normal use,it must have been faulty 'cause those things are seriously stout.Did you see any voids in the casting where it broke?

I'm not suprised they're keen to find what caused it. i know their customer support is very good aswell. They refunded my order when UK customs lost a set of LST arms.

I've taken some big tumbles with mine, you know a part is reliable when you find yourself not even bothering to check after a big spill.

Good thing for them is that they cast their arms, so they can just chuck it back in the furnace with minimal loss of profit
