So you basically compared two cheap chinese cells, a 3800 and a 3000 (in 2p config to make the 6000). There is a huge difference between a maxamps 6000 and a trakpower (4900mah). Batteries make a huge difference. My 7xl vehicles would not run correctly with maxmaps 4s pack, 5000 or 6000. They run fine with a pair of trakpower lipos. And the trakpower was cheaper than the 6000 packs.
