What should I do with my broken E-Revo - 06.11.2008, 10:09 AM

If you recall from a previous thread I have a problem with my Quark 125b ESC. Since S & T is no longer in the US I don't know what I should do.

(A) - I could sell the truck (if interested pm me, we'll talk) and help fund my new hobby, RC Airplanes

(B) - I could replace the Quark, but without any support and the MMM becoming available I think the prices they are currently getting on Ebay are over valued.

(C) - I could just wait for the MMM to become available

(D) - I could use a Mamba Max. I have a 4s 5000mah battery and a 9xl motor, but since the MM is only rated up to 3s would the 3s 2200mah that I use in my plane work ok or would that be to under powered. I also have a 7L motor if that might work better. I kind of like the idea of using the 3s 2200mah since I have several of them.

(E) - Other, Please Explain.

Thanks
Rob

(E) you can run the MM on 4s at a very stable state with an external BEC. Keep the truck and throw in the 4s batteries you own and the MM with the 9xl. My .02

Thanks guys, I'll get an MM ordered just as soon as my wife lets me, unless brushlessboy16 is really interested.

Thanks
