Which savage is this? - 06.05.2008, 01:11 AM

Hey, guys.

So I have a savage and I'm not sure which one it is. I'm wondering which version this is, and about how much it should sell for. It's in very very nice condition. Really clean all through. Thanks, guys.

Looks like an original Savage or Savage 25 to me. Definitely not one of the "X" series, though. I would guess ~$200.

Not an x series?! It does not appear to have the asymetrical tvps. Looks like a 25, just like my basher!

the bumpers are backwards. It looks like a savage 25. Not sure how much they are going for but why not keep it to convert???

ah I'd love to keep it.. but right now I've got a little too much going on. I've got a B44 and a Losi 8 already occupying all of my time (and of course my money). So I'm looking to sell it.

So it's a NON-X, Original, Savage 25? I bought it used and one of those 4.6 engines came with it. I'm not sure if that's the original engine. Is it possibly a "4.6"? (Whatever that means..)

Interestingly I never even noticed the difference between the bumpers. Ha. I thought they were identical. I see what you mean now :)

Yeah the lights are on the wrong end.... The 4.6 is not the stock engine. the 4.6 is actually a .28 big block and the 25 (the one you have pictured) came with a .25 big block. PM me with how much you would sell as a roller.

Crap, I totally forgot to add the "not" after "definitely". If it were a Savage X, the chassis TVPs would have a big X spanning from the top to the bottom.
