My flightpower 3700 3s fit right in with room to spare on the top and ends so I bought one. The black and blue one, my LHS never gets the color scheme thats on the box(black and red). Come here E-maxx let me have the MMM back, you can have the MM.

Nice being able to walk into a R/C shop not intending to buy a new R/C and you end up walking out with a new R/C. Got pics yet?

thats how I got started in RC, I was model rocketery guy, and went into a LHS to buy some rocket supplies and one of the employees was running a Tmaxx with the old .15 motor and walked out $400 lighter in the wallet...

Yeah - I just got a call that one of my LHS's got it in today as well. Will swing by and pick it up tomorrow.

Already have motor, esc, radio ready to go - just don't have the batteries that will run it. Going to wait until I can get the calipers out and measure and then I'll pick the best 3S packs to fit on each side.

I'll probably run it stock for a bit until I can get all the parts together, but I am planning on running the Tekno Nue 1515 - either the 2.5D (1650kv) or the 3D (1360kv) - not quite sure which yet.

I also need to figure out all the gearing ratios (diffs, tranny, pinion/spur). All I have is hardened Mod1 pinions, so I have to see what my options are for 32p.

Going to run it with MMM that so far has been okay (about 2 hours on 5S and 6S with no issues).

I would really like to see Traxxas release the single motor mount adapter before updating - but probably won't be able to resist.

More to come tomorrow night (w/ pics) once I get it out of the box and can do some measurement for battery. Also - the way the rear shocks are mounted it looks like a 1515 might be the biggest motor that can fit in there - not sure if a 1521 will make it.

yeah maybe a little longer motor, the rear motor mount is pretty cool with holes for 29-30 mm motor holes and two positions for the 540 motors, looks like a lot motor slide adjustment and clearance so finned can motors are welcomed.
